Kalakuteer conducts classes on both performing arts and fine arts for all the age groups. We have a stipulated courses designed for Hindustani,carnatic, semiclassical/light music. The department of instrumental music, provides courses on various instruments such as sitar, veena, guitar, tabla, drums, harmonium, synthesizer etc.The department of dance provides courses on Kathak and contemporary dance forms.The department of fine arts includes classes on Painting (oil, acrylic), sketching, rangoli, origami, Installations etc. The department of dramatics deals with the classes on theater, dramatics and performances.
Our teaching structure is designed to correct and improve the minor mistakes of the student and provide guidance to nurture the intricacies of the art form .Emphasizing on above point our classes are designed on one-one basis and group basis .This will be purely decided by the head who deals the subject if one needs one-one or group type of teaching method. Everyone in the group will be given utmost attention in group type of teaching methodology.
We have total of 8 classes a month(2 classes a week) typically designed one hour per session where teacher provides instructions and corrections. This may get increased at the time of performances. These class timings are flexible, You can discuss the availability of the slot with the teacher or the head of the institute.
The kalakuteer platform is open for the student to practice the lesson whenever they need. A prior intimation is necessary incase if student is coming for practice. Presence of teacher may not be guaranteed in the practice sessions, if a teacher is available , then he/she will be guiding you .
